Independence Day in the United States is a day in which Americans celebrate the signing of the Declaration of Independence, thus solidifying the fledgling union’s place in history. The tradition is to get together with friends and family, barbeque and either light (or watch the lighting of) fireworks. We upheld this tradition by buying over $200 of fireworks and heading out to the church building with friends to see what mayhem we could create. One of my favorite fireworks as a kid was the tanks and it happens to be one of Connor, my son’s, favorites as well.
