We had one of the hottest days so far this year with the temperature finally getting over 90° F and with the heat came the inevitable afternoon severe weather watch. I set out with Lilly and Gannon to Amend Park in hopes of capturing some weather images. As it turned out, the clouds that were at one time so breath-taking, had moved in, flattened out, grew tall, and diminished their appearance so there wasn’t much in terms of weather to photograph – but thanks to Gannon and his testosterone driven sense of adventure, I was able to get a photo for today.
I really like the look on Gannon’s face in this shot. He’s got that intrepid world-traveling adventurer look about him. What a great kid!
