Grateful Day Fifty-four

Light Play with G

My wonderful wife, Sue, took our kids and two neighborhood girls out and about today to Old Navy and then to the mall (I know, brave!). While at Old Navy, Gannon found a toy that he absolutely had to have – a magnetic gyro wheel – but this one has a red light that only lights up when it is on the rails of the wand portion of the toy.  As soon as I walked in the door, Gannon started telling me all about his new toy while demonstrating how it works and telling me that we needed to take pictures of it in a dark place because the lights would look better let’s go do it now! He took the words right out of my mouth!

As soon as I changed out of my work clothes we went to the darkest room in the house, the bathroom, and made a couple photos. This was one that was actually an accident in that Gannon wasn’t ready – it turned out sort of unique, and Gannon liked it, so it is my choice for today.

Gannon is really getting into my project - and I am Grateful for his willing participation.
