Grateful 365 Day Thirty

It is funny the things that you find you are Grateful for when you do a project like this.  Today’s photo is a perfect example of that – and my first venture into photography of this sort.  Sue, my always supportive wife, made one of my absolute favorite meals today, lasagna, and it looked so good I chose it for today’s Grateful subject.  There is a bit of a story behind Sue and lasagna that I find rather amusing.  You see, Sue never liked lasagna and despite many people’s insistence that their recipe would change her mind, she never really developed a taste for it.  It wasn’t until a couple years ago that we had lasagna at Mike and Amy Ferguson’s house that Sue finally saw the light and began liking lasagna. Ever since that time she’s been on a quest to make the perfect batch – and I dare say she has accomplished her task as represented in today’s photo.

I should also mention that I have never done food photography before and probably won’t do too much more if it.  I really just like to eat the food instead of photograph the food.

Lasagna - "Nature's Most Perfect Food"

I am Grateful for the blessing that is my wife's Lasagna!
