Grateful 365 Day Seventeen

Wiffle Ball Near Miss

As I have mentioned in past posts, most of Montana east of the Rocky Mountains has received record-breaking, river-flooding rain, which has kept us inside for the better part of the last 3 weeks.  With very little break in the rain, we are very thankful to see the sun from time to time and when it does come out we have been making the most of it.  Today was one of those days when the sun shone most of the day so after work we got busy mowing our ankle-deep grass.  After the chore was done and the tools put away we played outside while we could.

The photo from today may have been (probably was) captured by my wife, Sue, while we were throwing a wiffle ball for Lilly.  I chose this particular photo because of the giggles it earned from Lilly and Gannon.  Of course, it looks like Lilly whacked Gannon soundly in the head with the bat, but it was just a trick of positioning.
