I am eight days into this project and I can honestly say that I didn’t realize it was going to be as challenging to come up with a new Gratitude Photo every day. It’s not that I can’t find things for which to be grateful, it’s more that I don’t have the time in a day to really get creative with the photos.
It is funny where one finds inspiration though. I sat down in order to pull some images off the camera and begin the process of choosing a photo from amongst ones that were not really what I wanted and sitting next to me in the dark reading her Kindle was my cherished wife of more than 16 years. So I casually changed camera settings and took a picture of her enjoying some much deserved and rarely had quiet time. I took the photo into Lightroom and did some manipulation to produce the photo below. I really don’t have to say it, but I am so grateful for my wife and all that she does. She is the hardest working person I know and she pours herself into whatever she does. Whether it is raising our kids, being an awesome wife or being a superb supervisor in the school, she is committed to giving her all in all things.
